Stacy Mitchell and her boyfriend Brandon Wright have always had a passion for healthy eating. After going to many juice and smoothie bars, they saw how most menu items were laden with sugar and virtually no vegan options. They recognized an opportunity to be different and started a food truck business, called Pressed Write Juicery.
Using only 100% natural fruits and vegetables.
“Many people are led to believe that going for a smoothie is healthy. Usually, this isn’t true. At The 805 Juice Bar and Bistro, we make sure that sugar is not added, and we use 100% natural fruits and vegetables, with vegan options. Everything we make is served up as healthy as possible and our popularity was immediate,” stated Mitchell.
While Stacy was at work, Brandon often stopped by her workplace to bring food to Stacy, on her lunch breaks. Before long, he ended up bringing food for the whole office, because Stacy didn’t want to share and everyone loves his cooking. One of Stacy’s co-workers was on a meal plan and asked Brandon if he would prepare food for her every week, so that she could stay on track. Without any hesitation, Brandon delivered and she was able to meet her weight-loss goals.
This was the catalyst for their meal preparation business, appropriately named Clean Eats. The demand for their healthy offerings was immediate and more space was needed.
Brandon and Stacy heard about an available space in the Abel Maldonado Center. The location was perfect to expand their meal-prepping business, and roll the Pressed Write Juicery into one business, so they could offer more food options. In February 2019, they changed their name, opened in the new location and the 805 Juice Bar and Bistro was born!
“All of our food is homemade with fresh local ingredients”
Stacy said, “We wanted to bring healthier eating options to Northern Santa Maria.” The bistro offers delicious food, smoothies and juices, daily. “In addition, this is where we create meal plans and prep them for our customers. We refer to the meal preps as “Clean Eats.”
“All of our food is homemade with fresh local ingredients“, says Brandon, the mastermind behind the menu and delicious food offering.
Stacy and Brandon realized how busy people are and how beneficial it would be for a company that would offer meal preparation options to make their customers lives a little bit easier.
Meal preparation plans are specifically catered to the individual and their needs. If someone is looking for a weight loss meal, a Keto-friendly meal or a meal designed for picky eaters, they are able to provide it.
Satisfying even the pickiest of eaters.
805 Juice Bar and Bistro offers easy and affordable meal preparation for busy people and families. They also offer juice detoxification for people who want a clean start.
